Once a old man and his 25 year old son were going in train. The son sat next to window & started looking outwards ; then shouted,"Dad look the trees going behind.." Dad smiled... And a young couple siting near looked at the 25 yrs old behaving childishly, with pity.. suddenly he again exclaimed,"Dad look the clouds running with us" Couple couldn't resist ; said 2 old man,"Why don't you take your son to a good doctor?" Disciple: The demands of work or illness prevent me from always being regular in my spiritual practice, Holy Mother: Illness is not within man's control. And if you are really tied down with work, then simply remember God and make salutation to Him. Disciple: What time should one set aside for Japa and meditation? Holy Mother: To call upon Him at the conjunction of day and night is the most auspicious. Night disappears and day arrives, or day disappears and night arrives-this is the conjunction of day and night. The mind remains pure at these times.

We want both men and women. There is no distinction of sex in the soul. It won't do merely to call Shri Ramakrishna an Incarnation, you must manifest power. Where are Gour-Ma, Yogin-Ma, and Golap-Ma? Tell them to spread these ideas. We want thousands of men and thousands of women who will spread like wild fire from the Himalayas to Cape Comorin, from the North Pole to the South Pole--all over the world. It is no use indulging in child's play--neither is there time for it. Let those who have come for child's play be off now, while there is time, or they will surely come to grief. We want an organisation. Off with laziness. Spread! Spread! Run like fire to all places. Do not depend upon me. Whether I live or die, go on spreading, yourselves. An event in Dakshineswar Bhavatarini Kali temple that took place at 9 p.m. on May 25, 1873. During the years 1862 and 1863, Sri Ramakrishna did his tantric sadhana. There are two classes of devotees. One class has the nature of the kitten. The kitten depends completely on its mother. It accepts whatever its mother does for it. The kitten only cries, 'Mew, mew!' It doesn't know what to do or where to go. Sometimes the mother puts the kitten near the hearth, sometimes on the bed. Devotees of this class give God the power of attorney and thus become free of all worry. The Sikhs said to me that God was kind. I said to them: 'How is that? He is our Father and our Mother. Shouldn't parents bring up their children after begetting them? Do you mean to say that the neighbours will look after them?' Devotees of this class have an unwavering conviction that God is our Mother and our Father. "There is another class of devotees. They have the nature of the young monkey.
