We want both men and women. There is no distinction of sex in the soul. It won't do merely to call Shri Ramakrishna an Incarnation, you must manifest power. Where are Gour-Ma, Yogin-Ma, and Golap-Ma? Tell them to spread these ideas. We want thousands of men and thousands of women who will spread like wild fire from the Himalayas to Cape Comorin, from the North Pole to the South Pole--all over the world. It is no use indulging in child's play--neither is there time for it. Let those who have come for child's play be off now, while there is time, or they will surely come to grief. We want an organisation. Off with laziness. Spread! Spread! Run like fire to all places. Do not depend upon me. Whether I live or die, go on spreading, yourselves.

A huge spiritual tidal wave is coming--he who is low shall become noble, and he who is ignorant shall become the teacher of great scholars--through HIS grace. Arise! Awake! and stop not till the goal is reached." Life is ever expanding, contraction is death. The self-seeking man who is looking after his personal comforts and leading a lazy life--there is no room for him even in hell. He alone is a child of Shri Ramakrishna who is moved to pity for all creatures and exerts himself for them even at the risk of incurring personal damnation, others are vulgar people. Whoever, at this great spiritual juncture, will stand up with a courageous heart and go on spreading from door to door, from village to village, his message, is alone my brother, and a son of his. This is the test, he who is Ramakrishna's child does not seek his personal good. "They wish to do good to others even when at the point of death.

Vallalar Birthday Today

Vallalar was born in South Arcot district , at a village called Maruthur, located near Chidambaram. His father Ramaiah Pillai was a village Munsif, and his mother was Chinnamayar. He was born on 5th October 1823 as a 5th child to this noble couple. Once a great Saint came to Chinnamayar for some food. She served him with a great respect! Pleased with the service of Chinnamayar, the saint offered her noble ash as Prasadam and blessed her saying " You shall very soon have a son like me born onto you ". It is said that the saint was Lord Siva himself. After receiving the noble ash, Chinnamayar had Vallalar as her 5th child! They named him after Lord Siva as Ramalingam. An event in Dakshineswar Bhavatarini Kali temple that took place at 9 p.m. on May 25, 1873. During the years 1862 and 1863, Sri Ramakrishna did his tantric sadhana. He had vision of various Devi’s forms. Although all those forms of Hers were of extraordinary beauty, he said later that they were not worth comparison in that respect with that of Sri Rajarajeswari, otherwise called Shodasi. He said about His vision of Shodasi, “I saw in a vision the beauty of the person of Shodasi which melted, and spread all around illumining the quarters.” That form of Devi he chose to worship, after a gap of 10 years, in the person of his own wife Sri Sarada Devi.
