Always say I have no fear

Sri Ramakrishna Said- "To love only members of the Bramho Samaj or of one's own family is maya;to love one's own countrymen is maya. But to love the people of all countries,to love the members of all religions, is daya. Such love comes from love of God, from daya" "Maya is nothing but 'Kamini and Kanchan'.A man living in its midst gradually loses his spiritual alertness. He thinks all is well with him. The scavenger carries a tub of night-soil on his head,and in course of time loses his repulsion to it. One gradually acquires love of God through the practice of chanting God's name and glories." Remember that daya, compassion, and maya, attachment,are two different things. Attachment means the feeling of 'my-ness' towards one's relatives. Compassion is the love one feels for all beings of the world. It is an attitude of equality. Maya also comes from God.Through maya, God makes one serve one's relatives.But...

This is the one central idea in the Gita: work incessantly, but be not attached to it. That wonderful poem, without one note in it, of weakness or unmanliness. Krishna talks of himself as God, as Christ does. He sees the Deity in himself. And he says, "None can go a day out of my path. All have to come to me. Whosoever wants to worship in whatsoever form, I give him faith in that form, and through that I meet him. ..."(Gita, IV. 12.) His heart is all for the masses. This was the great work of Krishna : to clear our eyes and make us look with broader vision upon humanity in its march upward and onward. His was the first heart that was large enough to see truth in all, his the first lips that uttered beautiful words for each and all. -Swami Vivekananda .

No doubt, things gone by are gone for ever, they cannot be got back however much we may try. Yet, there utility in looking to the past. One should look to the past, not to derive imbecile satisfaction from an attitude of blind worship but to derive inspiration for greater achievements. It is dreams that sustain us in life.
